Richard Spence (Head of Instruction)
I trained to be a golf professional at Seacroft Golf Club, which is located on the east
coast of England. Seacroft Golf Club is a championship links, established in 1895. The
golf club also has a fantastic reputation and high quality, skilled staff.
I have personally been teaching golf for just over 20 years and in that time have
accumulated thousands of hours of teaching experience.
After searching for an environment where I could develop my teaching, in mid 2011 I
decided to moved to Bangkok, Thailand. Shortly after the move I was introduced to
Trackman and quickly became aware of its benefits to improve my students golfing
performance. I then set a myself a personal goal to become the first Trackman Master
in Thailand and now having achieved this it makes me even more inspired to get golfers
into using and understanding Trackman in and round the ASEAN region.
I continue to learn new skills to make my students golfing life easier.
I have been lucky enough to spend time and learn from some of the best coaches in the
world, these people are in different aspects of the game from swing patterns, to
biomechanics and detailed launch monitor data. check out some of the things below
that’s influenced the way I teach this great game.
